The Hop~N~Blueberry Farm School & Camp Tours
Field Trip Description: Butterflies are some of the most beautiful and interesting creatures on Earth. Visiting a butterfly sanctuary with big outside gardens of butterfly attracting flowers and an enclosed facility with live butterflies is an easy way to see butterflies up close. Stroll through the gardens and explore the butterfly's life cycle in detail, including all four stages of life. To grow into an adult butterfly, they go through four stages: egg, larva, pupa, and adult. Each stage has a different goal. For example, caterpillars need to eat a lot and adults need to reproduce. Depending on the type of butterfly, the life cycle of a butterfly may take anywhere from one month to a whole year. Enjoy these amazing creatures firsthand!
